I’ve always wanted to have high tea and after our hike through the Blue Mountains, I felt we deserved a treat today. We parked ourselves by the fireplace…remember it is winter here…and ordered High Tea. I had Prince of Wales Tea and the guys had green tea. The towers of snack arrived and we chowed down on finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, and an assortment of small deserts. Oh my it was heavenly. Guilt set in quickly and while the guys were napping in the afternoon, I walked down into the town of Katoomba in the hopes of working off at least one of those delightful treats!
The picture of the HighTea service is amazing! I have always loved tea and afternoon teas, but have never had HighTea. Kip looked just like I was feeling,now what do I have first.
