Canungra

We made our way to the edge of Lamington National Park to the town of Canungra. As expected our GPS routed us on the most interesting road in the area! We traveled on blacktop, dirt and gravel with little rhyme nor reason. And the 200 miles took us around 5 hours. The landscape was beautiful and the cows and sheep were plentiful. We found Baggs Bed and Breakfast and settled in before heading into town for a walk and dinner. Not too much in this little village. Headed to the hotel for dinner and lo and behold…more slot machines!! I had heard that Aussies love gambling and that seems to be true. Josh and I tried our hand and true to form, I lost and Josh won. He’s up $30 now! Fish and chips for dinner and back to our B&B for the night.
