Walking around Bamberg

Bamberg is a beautiful town. We had a stroll around the old section and enjoyed the cobblestone streets, the market, and the shops.

We spent a very full day in Vienna, Austria. The city was beautiful but very crowded. Our docking location was on the edge of the city and was quiet. St Francis church was right at our stop. We were surprised to find that the church was not so old...maybe 100 years. The surrounding buildings were quite modern.

Artsy Photos in Medieval Regensburg, Germany

Regensburg is a lovely city and we had a wonderful walking tour through the medieval section. I was playing with the camera just a bit and this is my take on being artsy!

BMW Plant in Germany

We were able to go to the BMW factory in Germany yesterday for an exciting 3 hour tour. No pictures were allowed...darn it all! The tour was wonderful; very informative. I was amazed by the robots used to build the cars. One section was called a robot garden but it looked more like a robot dance. Each robot was moving and was synchronized with the other robots.

A Surprise on the Danube River in Germany

I woke late this morning and walked to the deck to see this structure. I thought I was dreaming! I can't tell you a thing about this. We are in Germany and still on the Danube.

A Quick Stop

We made a quick stop in the small town of Englehartszell. We were there long enough for me to take a quick walk around town before breakfast! The town was still asleep!
